Economy holds up despite uncertainty
Yet again the Northern Irish political scene has an uncertain future as direct rule is re-introduced. But, writes Joe McKnight, the prospects for businesses and consumers alike remain remarkably rosy
In recent weeks we have seen a continuation of the uncertainty that has dogged Northern Irish politics for years. On 14 October the Executive and Assembly were suspended and direct rule was re-introduced.
