New York’s Weil Gotshal & Manges has teamed up with its French merger partner Serra Leavy & Cazals to advise on two billion dollar-plus disposals by Vivendi on either side of the Atlantic.
The two firms this month teamed up to advise Vivendi on the $1.66bn (£1.1bn) sale of its US-based Houghton Mifflin publishing house to a consortium of private equity houses led by Bain Capital and Thomas H Lee.
