Gouldens is on course to seal a merger with its US suitor Jones Day Reavis & Pogue by the end of its financial year in April – despite opposition from the City firm’s property and litigation practices.
Sources close to the talks have confirmed that a final vote is expected early in the New Year on current proposals to integrate in the UK under the name Jones Day Gouldens.
