Gouldens in Jones Day merger bid

City firm Gouldens has today confirmed that it is in merger talks with US giant Jones Day Reavis & Pogue.

Gouldens co-managing partner Charters Macdonald-Brown told Legal Week: “We have always seen ourselves as moving forward and it would be foolish to say that that would not involve becoming more international.”
