It has taken three months and a good deal of shilly shallying, but it looks as if groups representing lawyers in the UK are finally getting to grips with the potential implications of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for the regulation of UK lawyers.

Three months might not seem too long in the great scheme of things, but, given the speed at which Sarbanes-Oxley was pushed through, the response has been decidedly sluggish.
