London’s top shipping firms are set to reap a fees windfall with Clyde & Co, Holman Fenwick & Willan and Ince & Co all drafted in as advisers in the aftermath of this week’s sinking of oil tanker Prestige.

Clyde has been called in to advise the cargo’s owners, the British-based Crown Resources, after the tanker sank on Tuesday (19 November) 130 miles off the Spanish coast in the worst oil spill since Exxon Valdez’s 1989 sinking.
