Miami-based Greenberg Traurig has charged into Europe after opening offices in The Netherlands and Switzerland with a string of local hires.
The two offices, the 900-lawyer firm’s first European ventures, will launch in January 2003. In Amsterdam, leading Dutch litigation and arbitration partner Peter Roorda will launch the new practice after announcing his departure from top Benelux firm Stibbe.
