The administrator of big four accountant KPMG’s bankrupt former Dutch legal practice has instructed top five London firm Allen & Overy (A&O) to advise on a claim to recover money lost in the tied firm’s collapse this year.

Dutch lawyer and administrator Jan van Apeldoorn told Legal Week Global he has asked A&O Dutch corporate litigation partner Arnold Croiset van Uchelen to decide whether to call KPMG witnesses to explain how the law firm, Steins Bisschop & Meijburg, went bankrupt in April.
