Magic circle duo close £1.25bn IT merger

Logica: newly merged firm will have an annual turnover of around £2bn and 24,000 employees Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Linklaters have advised on the announced £1.25bn merger of Logica and CMG, creating one of Europe’s largest IT services businesses.

Freshfields’ corporate partner James Davis led the team advising Logica, assisted by corporate partner David Sonter, with Linklaters corporate partner Dominic Welham leading the team advising CMG, assisted by corporate partner Michael Sullivan.
