Simon Thompson, director of information systems at Linklaters, last month scooped the coveted title of IT Director of the Year at the annual Legal IT Awards ceremony, at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.
The judging panel cited Thompson for the development and on-going success of IT-driven projects, such as the Blue Flag online legal advice service and the firm’s advanced extranet system, Clients@Linklaters.
