With Clifford Chance caught in a PR nightmare after a group of its New York associates claimed their billable hours targets encouraged padding, it is no surprise that out-going chief executive Michael Bray has sought alternative employment impersonating Noddy Holder from Slade.
Apparently Bray’s renditions of classic Slade hits such as ‘In for a Penny’, ‘Run Run Away’ and ‘My Oh My’ went down a storm at the recent New York partner retreat, although his timeless reprisal of ‘Skweeze me Pleaze me’ was pulled at the last minute.
