TJG merges with Wessing
City firm Taylor Joynson Garrett merged with German practice Wessing on 1 September, creating the 181-partner corporate technology specialist Taylor Wessing, with an annual turnover of £100m.
The merger – the largest in Europe this year – is the first stage of a planned expansion programme targeting the Continent’s key jurisdictions. The move demonstrates that, despite the tougher economic conditions, management at UK firms are still looking to develop their practices with long-term strategies.
