Herbert Smith has closed a major European disposal for troubled gas and power company TXU Europe Group and has now been instructed on the restructuring of the client’s energy business.
TXU Europe has a long-standing relationship with Herbert Smith corporate partner Paul Griffin.
He took the client with him when he left Ashurst Morris Crisp in 1998 and again when he left Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft in 2000.
