The trustee of bankrupt former KPMG Dutch-tied law firm Steins Bisschop & Meijburg has instructed Allen & Overy (A&O) to advise on a claim against the big four accountant to recover money lost in the firm’s collapse this year.
Dutch lawyer and trustee Jan van Apeldoorn told Legal Week he has asked A&O Dutch corporate litigation partner Arnold Croiset van Uchelen to decide whether to call KPMG witnesses to explain how the law firm went bankrupt in April.
