Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) is a new environmental authorisation regime created to implement the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive.
IPPC largely covers those industrial sectors that are currently regulated under the national Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) regime, plus landfills and some other waste activities that are subject to waste management licensing.
