The Paris Bar is to press firms to improve billing information with the launch of new best practice guidelines for disclosing fee information to clients.
The recommendations, which will be included in a Bar publication this month, will call on firms to provide a written agreement setting out details of billing rates and fee structures ahead of accepting any instruction.
