It is all too easy to lump Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden together under the convenient banner of Scandinavia. But that is to overlook that each country possesses its own very different market.

Finland has its high-end mobile technology; Norway its oil and gas; Denmark is busy positioning itself as the gateway between Scandinavia and the rest of Europe; and Sweden, as the major business and industrial centre in the region, has always been the driving force.
