Hopes that partners of Andersen Legal (AL) could escape liabilities related to their former accountancy parent have been thrown into doubt following the launch of a multi-million pound claim against Andersen and its related entities.
The claim sees US-based Peregrine, a software infrastructure developer formerly listed on the Nasdaq index, suing Andersen LLP in the US, Andersen Germany in Europe and the Andersen Worldwide umbrella body for $250m (£159.6m).
