Ashurst Morris Crisp has combined with US firm Proskauser Rose to advise The Laird Group on its cash acquisition of the assets of Boldt Metronics International (BMI).

Ashursts and Proskauser Rose advised Laird – an electronics, security systems and distribution group with operations in the US, Europe and Asia – on the £18.7m deal which closed last month.
The Ashursts team was led by corporate partner Richard Gubbins, with support from Frankfurt managing partner Wulf Merkel, Brussels partner Carl Meyntjena and Singapore partner Susan O’Rourke.
