Watson Farley & Williams is to launch an Italian law practice in Rome as the UK firm moves to energise its battered international network.
The four-lawyer practice will concentrate on energy and finance work and is to be headed by Eugenio Tranchino, who is leaving the Rome arm of leading Italian firm Carnelutti.

The new office will officially open in October and will target those of the firm’s clients that are operating within the energy and power market in Italy.
