Pinsents lands Rare deal for Microsoft

Pinsent Curtis Biddle has advised UK games maker Rare on its £240.6m ($375m) sale to US computer giant Microsoft.

In its largest ever UK deal, Seattle-based Microsoft acquired Twycross-based Rare from its founders Chris and Tim Stamper, as well as game console rival Nintendo, which held a 49% stake in Rare.
