Norton Rose has won a new client after closing two major IT outsourcing deals for international companies. The firm advised new client map information producer Kampsax and established client, TXU Energi, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of energy, on their respective outsourcing agreements.
Kampsax turned to Norton Rose after a recommendation from Jakob Berhnhof, a corporate partner at the clients’ Danish legal firm, Kromann Reumert. Commercial partner Richard Barratt led the Norton Rose team advising Kampsax on a five-year outsourcing agreement with Ordnance Survey. Barratt was supported by specialist IT lawyer, Garfield Smith. Ordnance Survey was advised by Field Fisher Waterhouse partner, Nigel Wildish.
