The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has censured the French Government for continuing to impose restrictions on the rights of European Union (EU)-based lawyers to practice in France.
The ruling, handed down by the ECJ in Luxembourg on Thursday (26 September), orders the French Government to pay all legal fees relating to the case and directs it to implement the Rights of Establishment Directive, which should have come into force more than two years ago.
