UK law firms hit by Enron subpoena

UK law firms and their clients became the target of US investigations into the collapse of Enron this month.

The New York bankruptcy court has ordered 45 law firms, including UK magic circle firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Slaughter and May, Clifford Chance and Linklaters, to hand over documents related to the collapse of Enron.
