The Paris arm of Salans has hired a three-lawyer M&A team from the French arm of Andersen Legal, including one of the few corporate lawyers to leave the legacy Andersen-tied firm since this month’s link-up with HSD Ernst & Young.
Pascal Jardin is to join the Anglo-French firm as a partner in early October with two associates. Jardin will practice in Salans’ core M&A practice under the lead of partner Paul Morel, where he will specialise in leveraged buy-outs (LBOs) and general private equity transactions.
