Spanish giant Garrigues is in alliance talks across Europe and Latin America as the 1,000-lawyer firm repositions itself following its split this year from the Andersen Legal (AL) network.
Garrigues’ managing partner, Jose Maria Alonso, told Legal Week the firm hopes to conclude alliance discussions within two months with a group of international firms as well as finalise its domestic tax agreement with Deloitte & Touche.
