These were the words of William Lytton, chair of the American Corporate Counsel Association in the immediate aftermath of Enron. His words are strangely prophetic – this month sees the biggest post-Enron legal casualty with the arrest and prosecution of the former general counsel to Tyco, Mark Belnick. So we have our first alleged ‘villain’.
