Bird & Bird’s Paris office has hired a new partner to make it 11 partners for the firm in France. Associate Paule Drouault-Gardrat joins as a partner from Lovells’ local office with
one other lawyer.

Drouault-Gardrat, who has previously worked in-house for pharmaceutical firms Sanofi and Debat, is to head the firm’s Paris life sciences practice. In June, Bird & Bird took tax partner Anne Quenedey and two assistants from the former French arm of Andersen Legal.
