Allen & Overy (A&O) has become the first international law firm to secure work to advise on the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Its Hong Kong office, through partners Michael Liu and Kenneth Chan and Beijing-based partner Grant Fuzi, will advise the Beijing Municipal Development and Planning Commission on the development of key infrastructure for the event.

A&O is also to advise on the building of the Olympic athletes’ village, national stadium, convention and exhibition centre and general commercial facilities.
