The European Commission (EC) has cleared the merger between HSD Ernst & Young and Andersen Legal in France to create one of Europe’s biggest law firms.
The decision gives the all-clear to the creation of a 1,000-lawyer firm, integrating the local legal arms of Andersen and Ernst & Young. The merged firm is currently in the process of re-branding.
