The Bar Council and the Law Society are to go head-to-head this year as it emerges that their set piece annual conferences have, for the first time in years, been organised on the same dates.
Both bodies have set their conferences for the same weekend – 28 September – with the Law Society’s three-day event kicking off in Manchester on Thursday 26 September and the Bar Council staging a one-day event on the Saturday.
