Allen & Overy (A&O) has secured clearance to advise BHS owner Philip Green on his £770m Arcadia take-over bid – after advising Arcadia’s biggest shareholder in relation to an earlier, aborted take-over bid by Green.
An A&O spokesman said the arrangement, which involves two teams of A&O lawyers deploying Chinese walls, received clearance from all the parties to the high profile deal.
