The English and Welsh legal market has exceeded £10.5bn, according to the most comprehensive survey of the profession yet undertaken.
The Law Society’s annual statistical report shows that the combined income of the legal market in England and Wales rose 11% in 2000 to hit £10.5bn. The figures do not include Scottish firms or barristers’ chambers.
