CMS Cameron McKenna’s Dutch ally is to fight “absurd” allegations of fraud and of bringing the legal profession into disrepute, which were levelled against two of its partners this month.
The allegations against CMS Derks Star Busmann partners Niek Wilke and Hans du Pon were made by a partner at a rival firm in submissions made to the Utrecht Bar and the Utrecht Prosecutor’s Office on 12 August. Both bodies are now determining whether to take the matter further.
