Simmons loses finance partner to Chiomenti

Simmons & Simmons has lost high-profile finance partner Manfredi Vianini Tolomei to Italian firm Chiomenti, after 12 years at the firm. Milan-based Tolomei, who joined Simmons in 1990, will join Chiomenti on 1 September.

Tolomei is a capital markets specialist focusing on advising financial services and energy clients. The move is the latest in a line of senior defections from the London firm’s respected Italian practice.
