Eversheds’ former head of pensions, Robin Ellison, has quit the firm to move to a rival. Ellison, a former national chairman of the pensions team, left Eversheds at the end of May.

He will start at a new firm, which has not yet been named, in September. A well-known figure in the pensions industry, Ellison was last year succeeded as national pensions head by London-based Giles Orton. Shortly before his departure from Eversheds, Ellison stepped down from the partnership to become a consultant.
