New York-based Dewey Ballantine has taken over the four-partner Polish practice of Hunton & Williams and hired the US firm’s London managing partner.

The moves see Deweys take on a Warsaw team led by Lejb Fogelman, along with partners Tomasz Kacymirow, Jacek Michalski and Zbigniew Mrowiec. The teams associates and most of the support staff are also transferring to Deweys, which is taking on the office’s lease. The hires will give Deweys around 50 lawyers in Poland.
