Bird & Bird secures German launch

London-based technology specialist Bird & Bird has secured its long-awaited German launch with the appointment of eight partners and nine associates from the embattled local arm of Andersen Legal (AL).

The new Duesseldorf office was formally launched on 15 July under former AL German head and ex-Wessing chairman, Wolfgang von Meibom.
