Leading Australian firm Clayton Utz is shutting down its controversial tobacco claims litigation practice with immediate effect following a review of its business strategy.
The move comes as the firm fights to clear its name after the judgment of an Australian court that Clayton Utz and its client British American Tobacco (BAT) denied a fair hearing to woman dying of cancer.
