Carsten Eggers, the rainmaking corporate partner of Ernst & Young’s tied German firm Menold & Aulinger, is walking out to form his own boutique.
Eggers had been expected to join a US firm following the June decision of his fellow partners to fully integrate with its accountancy parent, which has also merged with the accounting and legal arms of Andersen in Germany.
