Perhaps it is something to do with the fact the several members of the Big Question panel of senior lawyers work out of the London offices of US law firms, but its pro-US bias is nevertheless surprising.
When the 100-lawyer panel was asked who, when push came to shove, the UK’s most trusted allies were, 89% cited the US, with just 11% stumping for the France/German axis within the EU.
