Profits at Clifford Chance (CC) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have edged ahead of their London rivals, according to research by Legal Week, with the pair now exceeding Allen & Overy (A&O) and Linklaters on average partner profits.
CC’s profits per partner for 2001-02 have been confirmed at £714,000, slightly down on last year’s £721,000, putting the firm just behind Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
