American Re set to join indemnity market

Reinsurance company American Re is set to enter the solicitors’ professional indemnity market offering both primary and top up insurance to law firm clients.

Law Society sources have confirmed that American Re is currently in the process of joining the Law Society’s qualifying insurers list, a requirement for all companies that wish to offer primary layer solicitors’ cover.
