Bird & Bird secures German launch with Andersens team

London TMT specialist Bird & Bird has secured its long-awaited German launch with the appointment of eight partners and nine associates from the embattled local arm of Andersen Legal (AL).

The new Duesseldorf office is to be launched on 15 July and will be headed by highly-regarded former AL CEO in Germany and ex-Wessing chairman Wolfgang von Meibom.
