Clifford Chance (CC) has made 55 full-time secretaries redundant as part of a review initiated by the firm in January.
A spokesman for CC said that the firm’s non-permanent secretarial function was still being reviewed. Last week CC’s rival, Allen & Overy, made 31 secretaries redundant as part of an on-going review of the firm’s back-office functions.
