The Bar has rejected the idea of setting up an independent supreme court at the Bar Council’s annual general meeting (AGM) which was held on 15 June.
The AGM killed a motion supporting the creation of an independent supreme court by a vote of 43 to 29. The Bar Council itself did not take a position on the debate.
