Boston restructuring specialist Bingham Dana is to merge formally with San Francisco’s McCutchen Doyle Brown & Enersen on 1 July to create a top 20 US law firm, Bingham McCutchen.
The merger bid, first revealed by Legal Week Global’s sister title Legal Week in March, sees the creation of an 820-lawyer firm with a combined fee income of more than $400m. Binghams’ partners voted on the deal on 29 May.
