Norton Rose has abandoned its joint venture (JV) talks with Singapore firm Rodyk & Davidson amid growing discontent among international lawyers over the efficiency of the island’s JV vehicle.
Norton Rose began talks with the 17-partner Rodyk & Davidson at the end of last year, but the UK firm’s Singapore managing partner Paul Giles this week confirmed the end of the discussions.
