Hammond Suddards Edge’s profitability has taken a hammering in its last financial year as the national firm today (30 May) said that its partner profits for 2001/2002 has fallen more than 10% to £275,000.

The figures are doubly disappointing for the firm, traditionally one of the UK’s most profitable national firms, as it had been hoping for a rebound in profits after last year’s £310,000 average was hit by the integration costs of the 2000 Edge Ellison merger.
