Linklaters has renewed its pledge to build a top-tier UK private equity practice, as the magic circle firm announces it has closed seven deals valued at £600m since the launch of the practice.
The London team, launched by former SJ Berwin partner Graham White, has closed seven deals since his arrival in October. Four of the deals involved acting for a buy-out firm, the benchmark for a successful practice.
